MHT-CET at MHWS
The Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) is conducted online to shortlist candidates for first-year state-level colleges. It runs in two groups โ PCM for engineering and PCB for pharmacy, nursing and allied programmes. Both are scored out of 200 with no negative marking. At MHWS the state pattern is taught on its own, not as a lighter version of JEE.

The PCM group is the route to first-year BE / B.Tech at Maharashtra's state engineering colleges.
- Attempt Paper 1 (Maths) and Paper 2 (Physics & Chemistry).
- Total out of 200, no negative marking.
- Maths carries 2 marks per question; Physics & Chemistry 1 mark each.
- Eligibility: Grade XII with PCM and at least 50% in PCM.

- B Pharma admission is through MHT-CET on PCB / PCM / PCMB percentiles.
- MH B.Sc. Nursing โ a CBT of 100 marks (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, Nursing Aptitude), no negative marking.
